Overview
The Faculty of Education grants a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration on Physical and Sports Education .
The specialization in Physical Education and Sports at the Faculty of Education aims to prepare competent teachers qualified to practice the teaching profession and equipped with the necessary skills to work in the field of physical education. This is achieved through a comprehensive curriculum that provides opportunities for learning from both theoretical and practical perspectives, where students learn the fundamentals of exercising and engaging in sports and physical activities, and gain the ability to apply physical education teaching strategies practically in a real work environment.
Admission Requirements
Due to the nature of the specialization, which includes both theoretical and practical field studies, specific criteria must be met by students. These criteria are assessed through various tests and procedures that indicate the suitability of the specialization for the applicants. Therefore, passing these tests is considered a fundamental requirement for admission to the Physical Education Department. The requirements and conditions for registration in the specialization are as follows:
Holding the Lebanese Baccalaureate certificate or its official equivalent.
Taking a diagnostic exam in both Arabic and a foreign language (English or French).
Passing the admission tests:
